Today (7 November 2024), Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, stated about his visit to Koh Kood, Trat Province on Saturday, 9 November that he will visit the navy personnel who are on duty on Koh Kood, approximately 50 personnel, and that the personnel are rotated every 6 months. During this time, there have been incidents related to Koh Kood, so he took the opportunity to visit the actual place and see what personnel are lacking in order to make improvements to suit their quality of life, including checking the various conditions to see if they are still stable and strong.
